Happy Birthday, Mikey!

It's hard to believe that my brother is 19. And I know it sounds cliche but it makes me feel really old. We went to Nana and Papa's today (my grandparent's house) for Michael's birthday party. CJ couldn't have been more excited because it was the first time he got to go swimming this year.





Jordan enjoyed swimming, but he was more interested in playing in the dog kennel. Which, to be completely honest, doesn't surprise me at all! When they say that kids enjoy the boxes more than the actual toy, they are talking about Jordan.





After spending literally all day outside I was able to bribe them into coming into the house for 2.5 seconds to sing "Happy Birthday". Judging by these pictures, I'm pretty sure Jordan enjoyed himself. :)











The boys are now sleeping peacefully (hopefully until oh say...9 or 10 am). On a side note, my surgery went really well. I'm healing quickly and hoping that will be the last of them. I have my follow-appointment in a week and a half and will post some pictures if he gives them to me. And I'll make sure to forewarn everyone in case some of you can't handle pictures like that. :)
