He's a Lover, Not a Fighter

Can I just say that I have never met a child like my Jo. He is such a little sweetheart. On Christmas last year, he gave me my favorite gift. Less than three months after his first birthday, he said, "Love you, Mommy". It melted my heart immediately. Of course, he never said it again until only recently, and it still has the same affect on me. He is more than willing, almost demanding really, to share whatever he's eating with whomever is within arm's reach saying, "Bite!" and shoving a gooey, slobbery, half-eaten piece of food into your mouth. Don't believe me? Look up! I hate to say that his willingness to share absolutely everything is probably a result of having a big brother, only 18 months older than he is, that refuses to let him have anything to himself (regardless of how hard I try, honestly!). But, whatever the cause, I'm happy that he is growing into such a genuinely kind-hearted little boy. Now if he could just give his big brother some lessons... :)
