We had another busy day planned today, and I'm still doubting that my house will be clean before tomorrow morning. So...why am I blogging instead of cleaning? I guess I'll just never learn! Anyway. We began the day with a mini-playdate for the boys and a blogging training session for mommy. My friend, Melissa, is an avid (admit it, you are!) blogger with two little boys very close to CJ's and Jordan's ages. Hence the reason she was better prepared to take a cute picture of the boys than I was (yeah, I stole it from her blog):

After we left Melissa's house, I spent the next hour and a half at the dentist's office getting more bad news about what I thought were my excellent teeth (this was my opinion before December 23rd of last year when I was informed that my night-time grinding had cause more damage than I thought). I was informed that I will have to get my wisdom teeth pulled after all. Unlucky for me, I maxed out my dental insurance (and put myself into some m.a.j.o.r. debt) repairing aforementioned damage. Being an adult isn't as fun as I thought it would be. So, needless to say, my extraction will have to wait until next year.
With all of this said, I'm asking for a quick prayer from everyone tonight that all will go well tomorrow morning and that my recovery will be quick and as pain-free as possible. And maybe you could include something in there about medical and dental expenses being put on hold for a while. It would be nice to avoid the doctor's office/hospital/dentist's office for at least a week!

Yay, your first real post :) It becomes very therapeutic, believe me!! We'll definitely be praying for you throughout the day tomorrow and hope that the surgery is quick and easy for the doctors and then recovery is quick and easy for you!
ReplyDeleteAsh, you are always in our prayers. You'll be in my thoughts all day today, please let us know when everything is over and you're home. I can't believe how big the boys are getting!! I love you.
ReplyDeleteHi Hon...answered prayers. Your surgery went well! Praise the Lord. Little men and I played all morning and watched The Fox and the Hound. If you want to do the yard sale, I am pushing you in the wheelchair lil missy! I still think it's too soon, but you know your body. I love you. Mom
