I am amazed when I look at the boys and see their father. Carl travels for work, so he is usually gone Monday through Friday. I would have thought that they would be picking up characteristics from me rather than him, but oh goodness was I wrong! It was bad enough having one stubborn, messy, and sometimes completely oblivious husband to take care of. (I'm just kidding babe, or am I? :))And now I have two little guys that are Daddy wrapped up in very cute, but dare I say messier...and nosier (!!!) little packages.
Let's start with CJ:
Look at their mouths :)

And their eyes! Lol!

This is my absolute favorite picture of them.

He is completely fearless, just like Daddy.
And he's a lover of all animals.

He's quite the explorer, too.

I can't take credit for this one. But
he can.

He shares Daddy's love for all things sports...

...and things that go "vroom"...

...and things that go "bang"...

...and just about anything that makes as much noise as possible!

He's a Mommy's boy through-and-through, but you can't deny that he's just like his Daddy. Now, let's move on to Jordan:
He has taken on Daddy's gentler side.
And can we just stop for a minute to note the hairlines...or lack thereof? I love you, babe. I really do! :)

He, of course, did not escape the "Steeler Fan" gene.

And let me tell you about his determination. Standing at only 9 months...

If Daddy has it, Jordan wants it.

And can we please talk about how stinkin' cute they both are?

See what I mean?

Again,
he gets the credit for this one.

Don't even think about distracting them for a kiss. It won't happen!

Although I got Jordan's first word (yep, that's right both boys said "Mama" first!), he is his Daddy's little guy. When Daddy is around, I don't exist. But that's ok, I'll let him have his few minutes of glory because we both know that when he's standing at the podium giving his valedictorian speech, I'll be the first one he thanks. :)
"My daddy doesn't tell me how to live, he lives and lets me watch."
Actually...if we want to get technical, CJ's first word was "NiNi" but none of us knew it until Melinda came over and said something "Nichole" to which CJ said "NiNi!" :) LOL. But they have grown so fast and so much!! I love them to pieces!
