Let me tell you...this man knows how to work a grill!
And, this is what I got when I asked for a smile...
Yep, that's my three-year-old class clown (or, umm, house clown since he's not in school yet?).
I think he looks like Toad from Super Mario Brothers with this helmet on. :)
Batman, Helicopter Batman, Motorcycle Batman, and Robin joined the party, too. Would you believe me if I told you they have two more Batmans (Batmen?) not included in the picture? Oh, and a Penguin, too.

By the way...this picture showed up when I uploaded all of my pictures to the computer. I think CJ may have gotten ahold of the camera. :)
We spent a lot of the weekend relaxing, which was exactly what we needed. It was nice to have some down time and not have to be rushing around to 5 different events each day. On Monday we celebrated Memorial Day with our family, and adopted family. :) It was a gorgeous day, but the water still wasn't quite warm enough for me. I braved the pool for about twenty minutes before giving up and retreating to the house where my lips wouldn't turn blue!
CJ, on the other hand, will swim in absolutely any temperature of water.
Oh my goodness, I just cannot get enough of that little belly!
They will never know what a foundation they have built for us. I can only pray that my marriage will be as successful as theirs is after 60 (yep, you read right...sixty!) years.

Matt and Carl. I had an amazing picture that I was going to post, but someone (hang on a sec while I clear my throat...babe!) deleted it before I got a chance to. But I will say that it definitely was not a picture of Matt feeding Carl. And he definitely was not feeding him a strawberry dipped in Cool-Whip. Lol! That'll teach you to delete my pictures, babe! :)

So, that was our weekend in a nutshell. I think maybe once in a while I should hand someone else the camera so I can actually post pictures of myself on here!
Wow Ashley, I love this website. Its almost as good as being there. In the words of Sid the Sloth on Ice Age "Way to go, Momzilla!" I saw the booboo on Jordan's head. His daddy had one in the same spot when he was that age. He walked right into a wall. And don't even get me started on the Flintstone feet. Just like their daddy...LOL. I am so proud of my son and the man/husband/daddy he has become. Keep up the good work, "Momzilla." Love you all, Grandma Carla
